Certificate II

Certificate II is a stepping stone to your career as a florist. All competencies are based on the Nationally Accredited Training Package and enable graduating students to work (with supervision) in a florist shop.

Certificate II & III Combined

The full-time course structure runs for 6 months, and the part-time course for 12 months. All of our full time/part time courses are Austudy approved. Early enrolment is encouraged in all of our courses as limited places are available.

RPL

Florists already working within the floristry industry (min 5 years) may be eligible to complete their Certificate III through the RPL process

  • Create a display for small business
  • Provide Service to Floristry Customers
  • Assemble and Prepare Floristry Products
  • Minimise Theft
  • Sell Products and Services
  • Apply product knowledge to meet customer needs
  • Recommend on Floristry Products and Services
  • Create Floristry Designs using Hand-tied Techniques
  • Create Floristry Designs using Wiring Techniques
  • Create Floristry Designs using a Base Medium

Elective Units - Complete all 2 units of competency

  • Apply techniques to update floristry industry knowledge
  • Co-ordinate work teams
